Per the description of the Youth Risk Behavior Survey by the Clark County Combined Health District, the YRBS looks at anonymous surveys collected from high school students to “Describe risk behaviors, develop programs and policies, create awareness, set program goals, seek health-related legislation, and to seek funding”.
By comparing the Youth Risk Behavior Surveys for Clark County in 2009 and 2011, as well as the 2009 YRBS in Ohio and the 2011 YRBS in the United States, the Clark County Combined Health District points out areas in which youth risks in Clark County have changed over time and how their prevalence compares to in the larger population.
