These data show the percentage of 3rd graders who scored proficient or higher on the third grade Reading and Language Arts test.

The state test used changed prior to 2015.  As a result, 2015 is considered to be a new baseline for measuring success.  Since 2015, all school districts in Clark County have either increased the percentage of 3rd graders scoring proficient or above or have maintained their scores.  Compared to Ohio, only two districts (Greenon and Clark-Shawnee) have scores higher than the Ohio average each year since 2015.

All data comes from the Ohio Department of Education.  You can find the 3rd grade scores for each school district on the District Report Cards.  You can also find it through the data download page. Click on the District Achievement Scores.

The data for the State of Ohio in 2014 and 2015 is not available and therefore is not included.
